Helping Varicose Veins

What a sigh of relief I got the other day from a lady who told me that she had been applying Aesculus Gel to the varicose veins on her legs. She said “I have been longing for years to wear short skirts during the summer, and I can do it now because I am rid of those ugly varicose veins that embarrassed me so much.” She was

over-the-moon with the results.

Summer is here and we hope it is a good one after such a cold winter, so let us look at the blood circulation and how we can improve it. Varicose veins are little alarm bells for future problems but if we deal with them early enough they can be effectively treated.

Do not make the mistake of writing off varicose veins as an aesthetic flaw, because their unsightliness is just one aspect of this condition; it can also be an extremely bothersome and painful ailment. Moreover, if these veins bulge significantly, even a minor injury could result in excessive and dangerous bleeding.

I am inclined to believe that all illness or disease is the result of disharmony. Varicose veins are an excellent example of this theory. The blood pushes itself upwards through the veins and where harmony is disturbed the pressure will cause the weaker areas of the veins and arteries to bulge, resulting in varicose veins.

Jobs that require long periods of standing or are extremely sedentary, old age, being overweight, pregnancy and constrictive clothing can all be contributory factors. Ladies ought to be aware that it is unwise to sit with the legs crossed, as this will hinder the circulation of the blood.

Proper diet and exercise is of the greatest help and as I always say, prevention is better than cure. It would be best if people became aware in the early stages that if they frequently feel a dull ache in the legs, or if they are restless in bed, the circulation is not functioning effectively. At this early stage the problem can be easily solved with perhaps some vitamin E or some extra calcium. Whenever one suspects such problems, look out for other indications such as cramp during the night, irregular pigmentation of the skin, ulceration, a tender feeling or an oedema. Sometimes these symptoms occur before or during menstruation but please remain alert to them.
