Ginkgo biloba

I came across the tree called ginkgo biloba for the first time some years ago, while on a visit to the Far East. Now ginkgo biloba also grows in Europe's temperature zone, its leaves containing the same active substances as those in Asia.

As a result of our modern life and environmental disruptions, vascular diseases have increased considerably, so it was appropriate to take a closer look at ginkgo biloba. My contact with Dr Wilmar Schwabe and his research team enabled me to gain thorough knowledge of the medicinal effects of this extremely valuable plant, and it is noteworthy that taking it has caused no side effects whatsoever. In cases where the brain does not receive sufficient blood, the tincture made from the leaves has proved to be efficacious. Also, a deficient supply of oxygen to the brain can be remedied quite rapidly, which is very important after a stroke. Blood viscosity, that is to say, its consistency and rate of flow, will improve in a short time. This makes it possible to eliminate the symptoms of defective circulation, such as headaches, buzzing in the ears, problems with hearing and sight, depression, a state of fear and panic, and similar conditions.

Some over-seventy-year-olds have registered notable improvement in health after only four to six weeks, taking a double dose of the tincture three times a day (the normal dose is 15-20 drops three times a day). Relief is even more certain when sticking to a low protein diet, but one that is rich in vital substances. Although scientists believe that ginkgo flavone compounds are responsible for the versatile effects, other yet undiscovered substances in the plant must also be given credit for these benefits.

It is possible to normalise high blood pressure after just a few weeks of taking ginkgo biloba, most likely because the blood's viscosity will be favourably affected. We do not know of any other plant remedy that is as beneficial as ginkgo biloba for the brain, central nervous system and vascular system.
